Disaster Relief: Northern California Fires

Disaster Relief: Northern California Fires

Please be in prayers for the fires in Northern California's wine country that started Sunday evening. Two of our churches have been housing some of those evacuated since the fires started and a third is working with their community evacuation center. One of the largest fires is 10% contained, one is 3% but the winds are expected to be an issue this afternoon. Our churches are:

Crosswalk Community Church in Napa, Rev. Pete Shaw pastor

New Vintage Church in Santa Rosa, Rev. Andy VomSteeg, pastor

First Baptist Church in Ukiah, Rev. Kevin Wood pastor

23 people have died, 436 people missing and over 3500 homes and business lost. Fires have consumed over 152,789 acres as of this morning. Over 8,800 fire fighters have been working since Sunday and very little signs of gaining any control. Numerous cities are evacuating now.

Pete shared this morning that gifts to "OGHs - No. CA fires" would be appreciated and would provide for gift cards to places like Target and Walmart for those who had minutes to leave their homes and have lost everything.

Thank you for your prayers.
