Dear ABCOFLASH Family,

On behalf of the ABCOFLASH Board of Directors and the Executive Minister Search Committee, I would like to thank you for your participation in our Focus Groups and Survey to help us to identify the qualities that you would like to see in our next Executive Minister. We are continuing to make progress and will soon begin looking for candidates for the position.

When it became clear that we would not have a new Executive Minister in place by Rev. Andy Quient's April 15 retirement date, the Search Committee considered a number of options. During this time, Rev. Andy expressed his willingness, and desire, to stay on until we had a new Executive Minister in place. After much prayer and consideration, we have asked Rev. Andy to extend his retirement date until his successor is found. Rev. Andy, with his wife Lisa's consent, has graciously accepted our proposal. We believe that this course of action will be in the best interests of ABCOFLASH, in order to maintain stability and minimize disruption to the organization's operations. This will also give Rev. Andy the opportunity to see a number of projects to fruition, something that he would very much like to do.

We thank you, our ABCOFLASH family, for your support and prayers thus far. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we remain committed to finding the right person to serve as our next Executive Minister. We will keep you posted about any significant developments.
